ART & SOUL 2010
Alphonsus Academy & Center for the Arts has certainly come a long way in the past eight years - thanks in large part to the creation of the Art & Soul fundraising event. All of the money raised goes directly to the operating budget of the school. It is an opportunity for guests to enjoy an elegant evening eating, drinking, and enjoying live entertainment with friends while also raising necessary funds for AACA.
The theme for Art & Soul '10 is "Achieving Excellence Measure by Measure." This year's event will celebrate the school's commitment to helping children achieve both academic and personal excellence through its rigorous and arts-infused curriculum.
The evening begins with silent auction offering quality items in a variety of price ranges. Once all of the silent auction tables close, the live auction will take center stage. This year's live auction will feature exciting opportunities including travel and sports packages.
Art & Soul will also feature a cash raffle. Participants could win as much as $7,000 for just $25 per ticket.
The jewelry raffle is back by popular demand. The featured item has yet to be revealed this year so stay tuned for that big announcement. The jewelry raffle is open to Art & Soul attendees only and the winner will be announced at the big event.
Finally, Art & Soul will once again offer an online auction - a great way to bid on items that will not be available on the night of the event. Non-AACA families and AACA families who cannot attend the event are also encouraged to participate in the online auction.
